The connecting Zurich Pinot Noir
The wine name PIN is based on the grape variety Pinot Noir. According to our interpretation, PIN also stands for precision - innovation - closeness to nature . Precision, because this wine has the perfect balance between fruit, subtle acidity and the one-year barrique aging. Innovation, because this Pinot Noir tastes neither typically Swiss nor classic Burgundian, but simply perfectly expresses the subtle and complex elegance of this grape variety. Closeness to nature because the vineyards in the immediate vicinity of the banks of the Rhine are cultivated biodynamically.
The taste of this wine is clearly characterized by red berry fruits, particularly prominent by strawberry and cherry aromas. This intense fruity bouquet is well rounded off by notes of mint and smoke, as well as a few fine tannins.
A real treat for both Pinot Noir aficionados and stubborn skeptics of this grape. A wine that connects, I promise!

Weingut 8247
Das Weingut 8247 verbindet vier Elemente, welche uns von Anfang an überzeugt haben: Das nötige Wein Know-How, ein ausgeprägter Sinn für Design, ein starkes Commitment für die Nachhaltigkeit und am wichtigsten, phänomenale Weine. Quereinsteiger Daniel Fink und sein Team haben einen neuen Brand erschaffen, der der Zürcher Weinszene hoffentlich für immer erhalten bleibt!
Flurlingen, aus dessen Postleitzahl der Name des Weinguts abgeleitet ist, war vor 150 Jahren die grösste Weinbaugemeinde im Zürcher Weinland. Zu den besten Zeiten wurden rund 48 Hektaren Rebfläche bewirtschaftet, aufgeteilt auf über 100 Besitzer.
Heute gibt es dort nur noch 4 Weingüter, das Weingut 8247 mit seinen 2 Hektaren trägt dazu bei, dass dort auf diesem schönen lehmigen Boden wieder tolle Terroir-Weine entstehen können.
